FAQ
Who is this for?
Primarily South African online stores and consumer-product brands that need creator-style AI UGC or cinematic product videos for social posts, launches, websites and ads. We also work with agencies and small marketing teams. For service businesses, we can discuss whether this format fits your message.
What is AI UGC?
AI UGC is creator-style video made with AI: talking-head, product-in-hand and everyday scenes that look like phone content. We produce and edit it for your brief. It is AI-generated promotional content, not a real customer review.
Do I need a script or a full brief?
A product link and a few words about your audience and plans are enough to start. We help shape the brief and agree the message with you before production.
What do you deliver?
A quoted set of AI-generated videos built around your product and message. We agree the number of clips, lengths, aspect ratios, captions, calls to action and revision scope before starting. You review before publishing.
How much does it cost?
A creator-style video is R1,450 and a product-only film is R1,650. The Starter pack is 3 videos for R2,950 when you book by 31 October (normally R3,450). Ad use included in every price, with one revision round per video. Bigger projects and monthly video are quoted.
How long does it take?
The Starter pack is ready in about 3 working days from your product photos. We reply to new enquiries within one working day.
Can I see a sample first?
Yes. Send a product link or photo on the free sample page and we’ll make a free 8-second video of your product, usually within 2 working days of confirming it works for AI. There is no obligation to buy.
Can the voices sound South African?
Yes. Our examples include several South African English voice directions. We discuss the direction that fits your audience and review the generated speech. Each new voice needs a listening check.
Can I post the videos on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and ads?
Yes, subject to the usage terms in your quote and any third-party restrictions. Tell us your channels so we can agree the formats. You manage publishing and stay responsible for each platform’s advertising and AI disclosure rules.
Is the video labelled as AI?
Yes. We are clear that the content is AI-generated, on this site, in your quote and in the terms. We never present generated characters as your real customers or hired creators.
Do you clone real people?
We do not copy a specific person’s face or voice unless you have the legal right and explicitly request it in the brief. The characters in our examples are AI-generated.
How is this different from hiring a UGC creator in South Africa?
A UGC creator is a real person you cast, brief and hire. Our service produces the creator-style look using AI, with an agreed brief and a review before posting. Choose a real creator when your campaign needs genuine personal experience or a customer testimonial.
Do you make talking-head and product-in-hand UGC?
Yes. Those are core formats, alongside mirror, car, desk, living-room and outdoor scenes. We agree the setting, message and edits around your product.
How do we start?
Request a free sample with a product link or photo, use the contact form, or email info@aiugc.co.za. A product link and a few words about your plans are enough.
Do you make cinematic product videos without people?
Yes. Our cinematic product videos focus on the product itself, using lighting, texture, close-ups and movement. They are AI-generated promotional concepts without a presenter or customer testimonial.
Can I combine AI UGC and cinematic product videos?
Yes. Brief us for either service or both. Creator-style scenes can put the product into an everyday moment, while cinematic clips highlight its materials, finish and visual appeal. We agree the combined scope in one quote.
Can you reproduce my product and packaging exactly?
Share clear product photos and packaging references. We assess whether the product is suitable before quoting, then review its appearance with you. AI can alter labels, proportions and small details, so exact reproduction is not promised without assessment.
